General conditions of internet sales

On the basis of Article 4, paragraph 1. Item 31 of the Road Transport Act (“Narodne Novine” No. 41/2018) and Article 41 of the General Terms and Conditions for the Transportation of Passengers, Luggage and Objects, President of the Management Board of Prometa Makarska d.o.o. on 02.10.2023. brings the following

AND GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1.

These general terms and conditions for the online sale of bus tickets determine the conditions according to which Promet Makarska d.o.o. will provide the service of selling bus tickets on the website www.promet-makarska.hr.

II CARRIAGE CONTRACT

Article 2.

Promet Makarska d.o.o. offers the service of selling bus tickets for individual lines or departures specified on the website www.promet-makarska.hr.

The display of products on the website www.promet-makarska.hr does not constitute a binding offer. The products displayed on the website represent an online catalog. It is considered that the Transport Agreement has been concluded after a successful payment transaction, after which the train ticket and invoice are delivered to the customer’s e-mail address. The reservation fee is charged and is clearly stated when purchasing the train ticket. When buying a train ticket online, a seat is provided, both in the departure and return direction. Prices are variable and subject to change depending on the market situation, bus occupancy and other relevant factors.

III DELIVERY OF BUS TICKET AND INVOICE

Article 3.

When entering the vehicle, the customer is obliged to present the corresponding ticket coupon to the driver, and he can do the same in electronic form on his smartphone or tablet or print the ticket and hand it to the driver. For individual departures, the customer is required to print a ticket, which will be notified during the ticket purchase process, as well as in an e-mail message when the bus ticket and invoice are delivered.

IV FEES AND METHOD OF PAYMENT

Article 4.

Information on bus ticket prices is available on the website www.promet-makarska.hr.

It is possible to pay for bus tickets in the online store with credit/debit cards MasterCard, Maestro, Visa. Payment in installments is not possible.

V DEADLINES FOR SALE

Article 5.

Bus tickets from Article 2 of these General Terms and Conditions can be purchased on the website www.promet-makarska.hr no later than:

  • 1 hour before the departure of the vehicle in internal road traffic
  • 6 hours in international transport and transport within the European Union for all departures from Croatia
  • 24 hours in international road transport and transport within the European Union for everyone

VI REFUND OF TRANSPORTATION FEE

Article 6.

The carrier undertakes to refund the passenger the transportation fee minus 10% of the transportation price, without refunding the reservation fee if the passenger cancels the ticket:

– in internal scheduled transport no later than 48 hours before the start of the journey (calculated from the start time of the journey indicated on the bus ticket)

– in international scheduled transport no later than 48 hours before the start of the journey (calculated from the start time of the journey indicated on the bus ticket)

A passenger who requests a refund of the transportation fee after the time specified in paragraph 1 of this article does not have the right to a refund of the transportation fee.

Transportation fees for bus tickets purchased within 48 hours before the start of the trip cannot be refunded.

Reimbursement of the transport fee in money is made on the basis of the Request for refund of funds. The request must be sent in a timely manner to the email [email protected], with the obligation to attach the same bus ticket for which the refund is requested as an attachment to the email. The refund of the transportation fee is made to the credit/debit card number used to purchase the Internet bus ticket. The bank costs of the return are borne by the passenger.

VII CHANGE OF TRAVEL DATES

Article 7.

It is not possible to change the date for a bus ticket purchased online. In the event of a change of schedule, it is necessary to submit a request for the return of the purchased bus ticket and buy a new bus ticket.

IX FINAL PROVISIONS

Article 9.

For everything that is not expressly stated in these General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions for Transport of Passengers, Luggage and Items of Prometa Makarska d.o.o. apply.

The court of the Republic of Croatia is competent for any disputes between passengers and carriers according to the regulations in force in the Republic of Croatia.

In the case of the need to interpret the provisions of these general conditions in relation to their translated texts into other languages, only the Croatian version of the text of these general conditions is valid.

The carrier may change these General Terms and Conditions in accordance with its business policy and applicable EU laws and regulations.

Article 10.

These General Terms and Conditions enter into force on the date of adoption, and are available to passengers on the website www.promet-makarska.hr. With the introduction of these General Terms and Conditions of Internet Sales, the General Terms and Conditions of Internet Sales cease to apply as of April 1, 2022.

Article 11.

The legal department of the carrier is authorized to interpret these general conditions.
